HGE Classic Feminine Bouquet Recipe

Oh good morning, bloggies!

Where oh where has our summer gone? I’ve been so wrapped up in wedding season that I haven’t even realized how quickly the days are flying by! Luckily my days have been filled with sweetness and the heavenly scent of fresh flowers being bundled into pretty bouquets. I’ve been working on making some changes to the services I will offer through Hey Gorgeous Events which has lead to some fun flowery shoots like this one. Kelly Sweet is the genuis behind the gorgeous, dreamy-like images (check out her blog here!) and the lovely ladies over at the Wedding Chicks featured this bouquet in their recipe section here.

HGE Classic Feminine Bouquet Recipe

• 3 white clematis blooms
• 7 ivory vendella roses
• 3 stems pink spray roses
• 9 white stock stems
• 11 Sarah B pink peonies
• 4 David Austin blush garden roses
• 3 pink sweet pea stems

Shall we add a little gold to the bouquet too?

I had so much fun creating this bouquet and yes, it is rather large but you can never have too many flowers in my opinion :) For everyone who asked on the Wedding Chick’s post, the dress was purchased in 2010 from Lulus. Unfortunately it is no longer available but if I had a dollar for everyone who asked where it is from I’d be one wealthy chick. The gown is the one I wore during the dancing portion of our wedding reception. More photos from that day can be seen over here and here. xoxo

P.S. I am off until next week for a Thursday rehearsal and Friday wedding in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. This super sweet client of me (and former teammate) is near to my heart and her wedding has been such a labor of love. With full service design and planning, I can hardly wait to show you all of the details that are going to make this wedding so darling. Feel free to follow along on my Instagram where I always post wedding day teasers from my events. I promise you’ll love this celebration!

  23. Yep, I loooooove that white dress of yours–same one from your one-year anniversary shoot? SO cute, love the cotton lace! I think I may have to make myself something similar for our anniversary shoot!! I love how it’s a simple sheath but it’s still feminine because, um, it’s lace. So pretty!
